The following are highlights from the Dec. 5 Systems Incentives and Rewards team meeting:
- Team learned more about HR topics related to SIR Concept 4; had two presentations (Talent Management and Payroll Shared Services) and went to Metro Chief Human Resources Officers meeting to understand current state of HR-related work and improvements at campuses and System Office
- Team broke into two subcommittees – Finance and HR – and will start organizing our ideas into possible recommendations during a working meeting on Dec. 19.
- Team believes there’s a need to clarify what practices should be autonomous and which should be common across campuses; this team could start by identifying where having common practices could benefit employees and students
- Team elected to have two student subject matter experts appointed to team by student associations
